ArtQuest adds a unique, artistic twist to geocaching – a high-tech way to track hidden treasure using GPS capabilities.

We’ve posted the geographic coordinates of eleven original art sculptures installed throughout the Upper Catskills at eleven different family fun attractions.  To download a list of the coordinates and information about each destination, click here.

ArtQuest includes something for everyone to enjoy.  

ArtQuest features exciting, original artwork that is innovative and often surprising.  Visit sculptures that capture wind and light, sculptures that ask you to contribute your own thoughts and poems, and sculptures that invite you to add your creativity. 

Destinations include sports, recreation, wildlife, swimming, boating, shopping, museums and more.  Of course, tracking the ArtQuest trail is a learning opportunity for people of all ages to master geography, navigation and technology. 

Have fun with friends and family on an elaborate treasure hunt, enjoying fabulous scenery and visiting a variety of interesting destinations – all with your GPS unit and less than a tank of gas.

Once you’ve visited TEN of the eleven sites, return to www.artquestgeocache.org and qualify to win two Gary Fisher Cobia 29er trail bikes.  You only have to choose TEN sites to qualify to win, but we’ve given you eleven to choose from. To find out more about qualifying to win, click here.
